We have an exciting opportunity for you to be a Star for Kids and support children in the community while promoting your business.
We are offering valuable ad space in our upcoming program booklet for our 3rd annual STARS FOR KIDS Awards and Recognition Night held on Friday, January 29, 2010 from 6:30-9:30 pm at the Auditorium of West Hartford Town Hall.
The evening will include live music, food and beverages, a silent auction, and most importantly, the recognition of eight (8) community members receiving the Stars for Kids Award for their outstanding volunteer work and dedication to children.
The honorees include five high school seniors, each receiving a $500 scholarship a three other members of our community who “light the way for children” by being Stars for Kids. We are fortunate to again have Susan Christensen, former Fox 61 News Anchor, as honorary chairperson and emcee.
The program book will reach over 250 attendees who will refer to it as the evening progresses. Net proceeds benefit our community service projects such as Lose the Training Wheels bicycle camp for children with special needs, scholarships and other community projects and programs sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of West Hartford.
The deadline for camera-ready submissions is fast approaching so reserve your space now.
